Fox Dance Co. is coming to New Iberia in May 2026, located at 1204 Import Dr
in the former Dance Factory building. Our studio is built on one core belief:
every dancer deserves the space, support, and inspiration to be true to
themselves and discover their passion for dance.
With a well-rounded and dedicated staff, we offer comprehensive training in
ballet, hip hop, tap, jazz, acro, contemporary, lyrical, pointe, jazz funk,
improv, and a guest teacher class creating strong, versatile dancers both
on and off the stage. Early registration begins in May, with competition team
auditions at the end of May.
We’re also proud of our award-winning competition team, fresh off a national
championship win, and can’t wait to continue building excellence,
confidence, and community—one dancer at a time.
ABOUT THE OWNER.
Sydney Fox is a nationally recognized choreographer, teacher, and performer with a lifelong passion for dance. She began dancing at the age of two and trained extensively in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, acro, hip hop, pointe, contemporary, jazz funk, ballroom, and modern. Growing up as a highly competitive dancer, Sydney competed from ages 6–18 and earned numerous prestigious awards and scholarships.
Throughout her training, Sydney had the opportunity to travel and study dance across the country and internationally, training in cities such as New York (Broadway Dance Center), Chicago (Hubbard Street), Houston (MET), Los Angeles, Boston, Washington, Florida, and spending a month-long intensive in Canada at just 13 years old. At 16 years old, she was invited to perform at the University at Buffalo’s dance showcase, an opportunity that further fueled her passion for performance and artistry. She later continued her dance journey at the collegiate level as a member of the Ragin’ Jazz dance team at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Following college, Sydney shifted her focus to choreography and education. For the past six years, she has been choreographing and teaching throughout Louisiana and Texas, earning recognition as a national award winning choreographer. She has had the privilege of working with elite programs, including the LSU Golden Girls. Sydney is deeply passionate about inspiring dancers, fostering growth, and creating impactful, meaningful movement both on and off the stage.
