She directs both the varsity team, Gator Jazz, and the middle school team, Blue Gator Dance. Noel Johnson
Noel Johnson started dancing at just two years old and began competing by the age of five with The Dance Factory. The studio quickly became a second home, where she trained in all styles such as ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, tumbling, and technique. She began actively traveling across the country, including LA, NY, Texas, and Atlanta, to compete with TDF’s competition team. Those years shaped not only her technique, but her character.
Dance taught Noel confidence, discipline, resilience, and the value of hard work. She was honored to receive numerous awards and scholarships throughout her training, including LADM Magic Performer of the Weekend and other class and convention scholarships. Beyond competing, Noel served as a Streetz Convention Assistant, spending her free weekends traveling to help teach and support classes. These experiences sparked a deep love for mentoring younger dancers and being part of their growth.
Even while pursuing and completing her Master’s degree, Noel always found her way back to the studio — supporting conventions, rehearsals, and recitals whenever she could. Now back home, she is excited to return as a teacher and mentor!
As both a dancer and a Pediatric SLP, Noel is passionate about building confident, disciplined, and hardworking students. She believes dance is more than steps and technique, it is an art that shapes character, builds community, and gives students a safe place to grow. She feels incredibly grateful to pass on the same values her teachers from TDF instilled in her to the next generation of dancers and in this new chapter of the studio, Fox Dance Co.
To the dancers - my hope for each of you is that dance becomes a place where you grow in confidence, discipline, and heart. I hope you learn that hard work matters, that progress takes patience, and that supporting one another makes the journey even more meaningful! More than anything, I hope you fall in love with the art — not just the stage lights, but the feeling of expressing yourself and becoming stronger every single day, and that you hold your ‘why’ close to your heart when things get tough.
I am very excited to be back moving with everyone!
